The GT5565_BB carries over the symmetrical layout of the HKS R35 full turbine kit and is capable of over 1000hp with minimal supporting modifications. At 200kPa of boost it produces 1380N・m (140kgf・m) of torque at 5000rpm and 827kW (1215ps) at 6800rpm. Ported shrouds prevent surge at low engine speeds for better control on circuit, while the exhaust manifold and turbine housings are cast from heat-resistant steel to withstand sustained heat and vibration.
The kit now includes its own dedicated turbine suction kit (14021-AN001), replacing the previous requirement to pair the GT1000 and GT1000+ with the racing suction (70020-AN107).
