Sustained high loads in +R mode place significant demand on oil temperatures, and HKS have addressed this with a kit developed specifically around the FL5. Air ducting draws fresh air directly to the core without disturbing the lines of the front bumper, and cooled air is discharged smoothly to keep airflow through the system consistent. An outlet plate is included to shield the core from stone chips and road debris.
The core mounts inside the left-hand fender and measures 200 x 122.5 x 48mm across nine stages, plumbed with #10 hose.

Please Note
- Standard fitting time: 6 hours
- Modification of the factory front bumper, left-hand inner fender and parking sensor harness is required
- The supplied Air Duct 1 (P10) is unpainted. Painting is recommended to improve the durability of the resin
- Use HKS Oil Filter Type 1 (52009-AK005) at oil filter changes
- Additional parts required: wire for fixing heat shield tape, paint for Air Duct 1, and a polypropylene-compatible adhesive for bonding Air Duct 1 to the metal clip
- Additional tools required: riveter for fixing the punched plate, and an air saw, ultrasonic cutter or hot cutter for bumper modification
