Hipermax S is built around driving comfort in the fullest sense — not just ride quality, but the confidence that comes from predictable handling. The setup is deliberately supple, letting the suspension track the road surface and cut unnecessary body movement for a better ride on the street.
Under harder driving the car's movements are easy to read as load shifts, and abrupt behaviour at the limit is suppressed, making it a sound choice for drivers developing their sports driving. HKS have set the rear towards a mild understeer balance given the Silvia's rear wheel drive layout; tightening the rear dial brings the car towards oversteer.
Revised internal components give a wide adjustment range across the dial and support a three year, 60,000km durability rating. Insulator springs front and rear make ride height adjustment straightforward.
