Where the standard catalyst uses a fine-mesh ceramic construction, this downpipe runs a low density metal catalyst. Both the first and second catalysts use 150 cells, cutting exhaust resistance considerably. The first catalyst section uses the smallest practical cells with an optimised precious metal ratio, holding purification performance while reducing exhaust pressure, and has been granted exhaust gas certification by a public institution. It is also designed to accept the factory heat shield to guard against heat damage.
Pipe diameter is 75mm against 70mm standard. Every weld is TIG, and the parts are buffed for finish. Dedicated brackets for both manual and automatic cars are included.
