The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the BMW G9X M5 is a sealed dual air feed system developed to provide an optimised airflow path to the turbos while minimising heat soak. The carbon fibre ducts draw air from the OEM cold air feeds and feature secondary openings positioned near the bonnet shuts, tapping into a consistently cold region of the engine bay for an additional source of cool air.
These secondary openings also enhance turbo spool audibility within the cabin. The patented Venturi filter housings with integrated tubes extend all the way to the stock turbo tubes, moving as one piece with the engine through the strut braces and eliminating the convoluted rubber hose required by the stock system. At the strut brace junction, the Eventuri intake tube cross-sectional area is 31% larger than stock, reducing restriction at this critical point.
