Take your braking performance to the next level with the YSR X AP Racing Big Brake Kit. We've taken Yellow Speed Racing's precision-engineered braking hardware and paired it with the option of genuine AP Racing calipers — giving you serious stopping power and the flexibility to build it your way.
At the core of the kit is YSR's own disc-side hardware: 356mm precision-slotted discs, lightweight aluminium centre bells, CNC-machined steel mounting brackets and stainless steel braided lines, all designed to work together as a balanced, track-ready system. It's a properly considered setup where every component earns its place, delivering consistent performance and sharp pedal feel straight out of the box.
From there, the choice is yours. Buy the kit complete with AP Racing calipers, or take the kit without calipers if you'd prefer to source your own — either way you're getting the same proven YSR foundation that makes the 600R a standout upgrade.
AP Caliper Options
This kit is built around AP Racing's six-piston Pro 5000 R Radi-CAL calipers, available in two piston/pad sizes:
18mm (CP9660) — ideal for track and fast-road use:
- CP9660-2S4L — Left, Anodised
- CP9660-3S4L — Right, Anodised
25mm (CP9668) — thicker pad for greater endurance and longevity:
- CP9668-2S7L — Left, Anodised
- CP9668-3S7L — Right, Anodised
Important: Whether you buy the kit with or without calipers, these AP Racing calipers are the only ones compatible with the YSR X AP Racing 600R Big Brake Kit. If sourcing your own, please ensure you select from the part numbers listed above to guarantee correct fitment. Calipers are handed and sold individually.

About the AP Racing Pro 5000 R Calipers
Built for high-performance and competition use, AP Racing's Pro 5000 R calipers deliver dependable stopping power without the premium price tag of top-tier race hardware. A forged two-piece aluminium alloy body, AP Racing's Radi-CAL asymmetric architecture, stainless steel pistons and high-temperature sealing all combine to keep braking sharp and consistent when you're pushing hard.
At the heart of the design is AP Racing's Radi-CAL asymmetric layout. By reworking the bridge profile and body shape, the caliper sheds weight while gaining stiffness — so it flexes less under heavy braking loads, and your pedal stays firm and predictable through stop after stop. That rigidity is reinforced by the forged, two-piece bolted construction, which spreads load evenly across the housing, resists distortion under high pressure and keeps the pads making consistent contact with the disc.
Heat management is handled just as carefully. The stainless steel pistons resist transferring heat from the pads into the hydraulic system, helping hold fluid temperatures down and keeping pedal feel stable through long braking cycles, while the high-temperature internal seals are engineered to cope with the thermal extremes of aggressive use — maintaining reliable piston movement and sealing integrity over the long haul. Integrated stainless steel wear plates protect the aluminium body from pad backing-plate contact, preserving the caliper's structure and keeping pad movement smooth.
Mounting rounds out the package. A rigid radial mount holds the caliper in precise alignment with the disc for stable, even braking and consistent pad contact across the disc face.
