TentBox FreeStander
The TentBox FreeStander is a fully freestanding awning that adds a proper room to your camp for cooking, eating and relaxing. Because it doesn't mount to the vehicle, it stays exactly where you pitched it when you head off for the day, so exploring doesn't mean packing everything away first.
The outer shelter pops up in 60 seconds. Clip the inner pod in and you have a fully enclosed living space in under five minutes, with a built-in groundsheet sealing the floor, bug mesh across the openings, a 3x3m footprint and 2.2m of headroom.
Both layers are waterproofed to PU 5,000mm, not just the outer, and an air gap between them keeps a current of air moving through the shelter rather than trapping it against the inner walls. Roof vents and mesh windows add to that, so the interior stays ventilated in heat and sealed in rain. The fabric is fire-resistant polyester with UPF50+ sun protection throughout, rated to withstand winds up to 38 mph.
The shelter and inner pod pack into separate bags at 11.8kg total, so you can take the outer on its own when all you need is shade.
