Tein RX1 Coilover Honda Civic Type R FL5 22+
The Tein RX1 is a twin-tube, full-length ride height adjustable coilover kit featuring Tein's Hydraulic Bump Stopper (H.B.S.) technology. Unlike conventional bump rubbers that store and release impact energy, the H.B.S. converts impact force into thermal energy, absorbing it without the rebound — a technology proven in world-class rally competition. The result is dramatically improved composure over rough surfaces and reduced jolting at full compression.
The RX1 includes 16-level damping force adjustment with simultaneous compression and rebound control, camber-adjustable lower brackets on strut-type suspensions, and exclusively designed upper mounts. Full-length ride height adjustment means lowering the car has minimal effect on ride quality or stroke length. All components are finished with Tein's ZTP Coating and patented 2-layer, 1-bake powder coating for outstanding corrosion resistance. Springs are cold-formed from SAE9254 steel and powder coated for long-term durability. Compatible with the Tein EDFC series. A replacement service is available in place of overhaul.
