Sun glare on your lap timer costs you data when it matters most. Our sun visor for the AiM Solo 2 and Solo 2 DL shields the display with a smooth, moulded-style cowl that keeps lap times readable in low sun, open cockpits and glass-heavy road cars.
The visor clips straight onto the unit with no clips, adhesive, hardware or modifications. The wrap is shaped precisely to the Solo 2 itself, following the case's curved sides down their full height, keying into the notch on the top of the case and locating in the rear corner recesses, while internal snap beads click behind the back rim to hold it securely in place. It fits with a simple push and stays put on its own, with the AiM mounting bracket fitting over the back exactly as normal, so it works with all standard Solo 2 mounts. Every pushbutton and connector remains fully accessible, and the hood sweeps forward 29mm past the screen face to shade the display without obstructing it.
Printed in ASA, not PETG or ABS. ASA holds its shape at the temperatures a dashboard sees behind glass on a summer day, resists UV yellowing and chalking, and gives a matte, factory-look finish that suits a race interior. It is the same material used for exterior automotive trim.
Designed and manufactured in the UK by Tegiwa. Fits the AiM Solo 2 and Solo 2 DL only (sold separately).
