Sun glare on your dash costs you data when it matters most. Our sun visor for the AiM MXG 1.3 Strada shields the 7-inch display with a smooth, moulded-style cowl that keeps the screen readable in low sun, open cockpits and glass-heavy road cars.
The visor mounts directly to the four threaded bosses on the rear of the dash, so there are no clips, adhesive or modifications to the unit. A contoured back plate follows the outline of the dash and sits flush against it, with a single clean aperture around the connector block so both AMP harnesses and the camera socket remain fully accessible. The side skirts are shaped to leave every pushbutton free, and the hood tapers forward 35mm at a 6 degree droop, finishing well clear of the screen.
Printed in ASA, not PETG or ABS. ASA holds its shape at the temperatures a dashboard sees behind glass on a summer day, resists UV yellowing and chalking, and gives a matte, factory-look finish that suits a race interior. It is the same material used for exterior automotive trim.
