When using recording or data logging equipment out on track, MSUK advise to use a secondary tether. By inserting the Catalyst 2 into this cage this enables the use of a secondary tether and helps to secure the device in position during racing.
You can also use this cage to mount the Garmin Catalyst 2 to your dashboard and not on the windscreen. This cage features 2 heavy duty bands on each side which keeps the device secure and also gives access to the USB-C port and buttons. When mounting on the dashboard, this product is also supplied with a blank for the top mounting point.
Constructed from PETG-CF this cage also helps to offer an extra level of protection for your Catalyst 2 against knocks, falls and dropping.
