The ST6 CMR Zero is the top of Stilo's ST6 junior karting range, homologated to Snell CMR 2016. It replaces the ST5 CMR and is aimed at young drivers who want the lightest, best-equipped option without compromising on safety.
The headline change is the shell, completely redesigned to be both lighter and physically smaller, which cuts drag and improves the fit. The XS shell weighs 970g and the S shell 1010g, with Stilo listing the XS as the lightest homologated karting helmet on the market to date. The XS shell covers head sizes 53 to 56 and the S shell 57cm to 59cm
Karting puts a lot of load on the neck, since the driver takes the full force of cornering and wind resistance with no support from the kart. A lighter, more aerodynamic helmet reduces that strain over a session, and the ST6 also brings improved breathability through a more complex ventilation system for better airflow.
