RSE Full Titanium Y Pipe Nissan 350Z Z33 / 370Z Z34 / Skyline V35
The standard joint pipe necks down badly, running as little as 45mm on the VHR before opening back out, and Real Speed Engineering's full titanium Y pipe replaces it with 60.5mm stepping up to 76.3mm and held the whole way through. Wall thickness is 1mm against the standard 1.5mm, and the whole thing weighs 2.3kg regardless of engine, against 7kg on the VQ35DE, 8kg on the VQ35HR and 6.5kg on the VQ37VHR. That's a saving of 4.7kg, 5.7kg and 4.2kg respectively. Precision lightweight titanium flanges and a minimalist bracket design keep the weight down further, a three-piece layout makes installation more straightforward, and an A/F sensor boss is fitted as standard for tuning work.
