RSE Full Titanium Exhaust Subaru WRX STI GV / VA Type-D
The standard WRX STI exhaust runs pipework that necks from 60.5mm down to 42.7mm, and Real Speed Engineering's Type-D replaces it with 80.5mm titanium into twin 152mm silencers and a 118mm sub silencer, exiting through dual 115mm tips in place of the standard 80mm outlet. Wall thickness is 1mm against the standard 1.5mm, with 8mm flanges against the standard 2mm. The complete exhaust weighs 11.1kg against 23kg standard on the 2011 to 2014 GVB and GVF, or 17kg on the 2015 to 2021 VAB and VAG. RSE measured proximity noise at 91 decibels with the exhaust alone fitted, dropping to 85 decibels with a sound reducer and 81 decibels with the Sound Reducer ver.2, which makes it one of the quietest products in their range. It's supplied as a complete kit with the gaskets, bolts and anti-seize compound needed for fitting, with no standard parts to source beforehand.
