RSE Full Titanium Exhaust Mazda RX-7
Real Speed Engineering's full titanium exhaust for the FD RX-7 weighs just 4.9kg against the 16.4kg standard unit, a saving of 11.5kg and under a third of the standard weight. Main pipe diameter is increased to 80.5mm from the standard 64mm with 1mm wall thickness, feeding a 152mm titanium silencer and a 115mm titanium tip in place of the standard 64mm outlet, so the exit is very nearly double the diameter. RSE measured proximity noise at 103 decibels with the exhaust alone fitted, dropping to 96 decibels with a sound reducer and 94 decibels with the Sound Reducer ver.2. Everything needed for fitting is in the box, including the bolts, nuts and a bolt smooth paste to stop fixings seizing under heat.
