RSE Full Titanium Exhaust Mazda MX-5 ND
Real Speed Engineering's full titanium exhaust for the ND MX-5 converts the car from twin exits to a single 89.1mm titanium tip, in place of the standard pair of 61mm outlets. The standard silencer measures 810 by 310mm and is replaced by a 118mm titanium main silencer with a 118mm sub silencer ahead of it, with 1mm wall thickness throughout, and main pipe diameter is increased to 63.5mm from the standard 54mm. The complete exhaust weighs 5.8kg against the 9.3kg standard unit, a saving of 3.5kg. RSE measured proximity noise at 103 decibels with the exhaust alone fitted, dropping to 100 decibels with a sound reducer and 97 decibels with the Sound Reducer ver.2. Everything needed for fitting is in the box, including the bolts, nuts and a bolt smooth paste to stop fixings seizing under heat.
