RSE Full Titanium Exhaust Mazda MX-5 NB
Real Speed Engineering's full titanium exhaust for the NB MX-5 replaces the standard box, which measures 280 by 500 by 170mm, with a 118mm titanium main silencer and a 118mm sub silencer, running 1mm wall thickness throughout. Main pipe diameter is increased to 60.5mm from the standard 50mm and the tip opens up to 89.1mm from the standard 60mm, with the complete exhaust weighing 8.7kg against the 9.9kg standard unit. RSE measured proximity noise at 99 decibels with the exhaust alone fitted, dropping to 94 decibels with a sound reducer and 92 decibels with the Sound Reducer ver.2, making this the most restrained of the Roadster range on volume. It's supplied as a complete kit with the gaskets, bolts and anti-seize compound needed for fitting, with no standard parts to source beforehand.
