Infinity Design Carbon Intake for Mercedes-AMG A45 S, CLA 45 S and GLA 45
The Infinity Design intake for the A45 S, CLA 45 S and GLA 45 uses a single inlet built around the factory air feed, sized to flow enough air for even Stage 3 hybrid turbo cars, with an additional opening on the right hand side away from engine heat and an oversized lower duct feeding the fully sealed system. Keeping the intake sealed means no heat soak, so the ECU never pulls ignition timing or boost target the way it does when an open intake breathes hot engine bay air.
Inside, the bespoke double cone filter with its 170mm opening sits in front of a single venturi tube, together forming the largest velocity stack of any intake on the market. Dyno tested on a 500hp+ Stage 3 car, it gained a further 14-18hp from 5200-6900rpm with earlier turbo spool. Made from 100 percent pre-preg carbon fibre in a gloss or matte finish, it is a direct OEM fitment requiring no ECU tuning.
