On Hybrid Racing's 433.5 wheel horsepower shop FK8, the factory MAF sensor in the 76mm housing hit 4.96 volts near the top of the pull and stopped climbing; in the 89mm housing it stayed in range. That is why the Formula is offered with two MAF housings. The 76mm Street suits standard and lightly modified cars, the 89mm Race is for builds that need the headroom, and everything else in the kit is the same. The filter sits sealed inside an XLPE airbox with a reflective shield on the turbo side, fed by the factory grille opening plus two lower inlet tubes behind the bumper. Tuned and MAF-scaled against a tuned factory airbox on the same 2019 FK8, it added around 7 wheel horsepower and 8 lb-ft on average from 2,500 to 6,800rpm.

Please Note
- Select the 76mm Street or 89mm Race housing from the options.
- The 76mm Street runs on the factory ECU; Hondata FlashPro with the Formula MAF scaling is recommended. The 89mm Race requires FlashPro or equivalent.
- The supplied coupler is around 69mm inside at the turbo inlet. Aftermarket turbo inlet pipes may need a different coupler.
- Fitting takes one to two hours and involves removing the driver-side front wheel and arch liner for the lower feeds.
