The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the BMW X5 G05 M50i is a complete redesign of the stock airbox system, adapted from Eventuri's X5M intake and developed to reduce pressure loss, increase flow rate and keep intake air temperatures low. The stock airboxes force air through a 180-degree turn before reaching the turbo inlets - Eventuri addresses this by introducing an additional cold air feed from the scuttle panel, creating a more direct flow path to the turbos. With the intake openings now facing the cabin, turbo flutter and pressure release sounds are clearly audible.
