Airtec Motorsport Turbo Muffler Delete for VW Polo (AW) Facelift
Part of Airtec's expanding VAG range, this turbo muffler delete suits the facelift Polo AW 2.0 GTI with the EA888 Gen 4 DNNA/207hp engine (08/2021 onwards), aimed at track or fast road use.
In standard form, the turbo outlet has an internal chamber that acts like an exhaust baffle, deliberately disrupting flow to reduce harmonic noise. Airtec's muffler delete replaces that chamber with a single, freer-flowing pipe, removing the turbulence and increasing diameter at the same time — the original tapers from 40.5mm to 51mm, while this direct replacement tapers to 60mm to match the original boost pipe, an 18% increase at the widest point and 48% larger overall from start to finish. The result is improved throttle response, performance and acoustics.
