Airtec Motorsport Stage 1 Front Mount Intercooler Upgrade for Mk1 Mazda 3 MPS
A much-needed upgrade for the remapped Mazda 3 MPS Mk1, using a 70mm core with flowed cast end tanks that requires no cutting to the bumper and retains the crash bar and fog lights.
Finished in high-quality black powder coat, the kit includes Pro Hoses silicone connectors with stainless steel jubilee clips and all fixtures needed, with fitting taking around 2-3 hours.
Tested
On Airtec's demo car, the standard top mount intercooler showed inlet temperatures of 160-162°C with outlet temperatures of 70-74°C across three runs. With Airtec's intercooler fitted, inlet temperatures dropped to 119-124°C, with outlet temperatures of just 23-24°C.
