Airtec Motorsport Audi RS6 C8 Side Intercoolers (Pair)
Part of Airtec's expanding Audi range, these side intercoolers are a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM twin intercoolers on the RS6 C8, aimed at track or fast road use.
The factory intercoolers mount between the bumper and inner arch liners, using dedicated air guides front and back to direct airflow. Airtec kept these in place and instead built a deeper core at the same width and height, reusing all original hoses, mounting points and air guides for a straightforward swap, while adding a 21% increase in overall capacity. High-flow end tanks direct internal flow efficiently for greater cooling than standard.
Tested
Logging turbo outlet (pre-intercooler) and post-intercooler air temperatures showed Airtec's uprated intercoolers held a steady temperature with no abnormal spikes, even as turbo temperature rose by nearly 170% in a short period. The original intercoolers, logged under the same conditions, couldn't resist the spike as well, showing a 60% greater rise than the Airtec units.
