Airtec Motorsport Short Shifter for Renault Clio Mk3 RS 197 / 200
Part of Airtec's expanding Renault range, this short shifter cuts gear shift throw by up to 35% on the Clio RS 197 and 200, sharpening the feel of every change.
Machined from CNC aluminium with an engraved Airtec logo, the kit comes complete with all fittings, fixtures and detailed installation instructions, and offers a choice of two positions for a 20% or 35% throw reduction.
A word on shifting
The Airtec shifter doesn't add strain to the transmission, but excessive force does. The gear change will feel more positive largely because the throw has been reduced by moving the shifter's pivot point — it should require less effort to shift, so avoid forcing the lever too hard or too quickly, as this can damage the transmission without improving the change.
