Airtec Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit BMW M140i
AIRTEC developed this kit from a 3D scan of the M140i, using CAD to work out how to package a large capacity external oil cooler into the limited space behind the lower bumper grille. The result mounts to all original fixing locations, so no drilling is needed to fit the cooler itself.
It's aimed at modified M140i owners who can't hold steady oil temperatures on track or during hard road use. A large scoop feeds a constant flow of cold air in from the front bumper grille and exhausts it through a laser cut grille that fits inside the inner wheel arch liner.
The kit includes a bespoke AIRTEC adapter plate to separate the oil and coolant systems, laser cut and powder coated mounting brackets, a horn relocation bracket, and braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings. All fixtures required to fit are supplied, along with detailed instructions for a bolt-on installation. Designed and developed in the UK.
In order to provide sufficient air flow required to the oil cooler, you can either choose to trim your original bumper grille to open it up or you can buy a direct replacement grille from BMW that is already opened up.

Compatible With
- BMW M140i built until 07/01/2018 without GPF/OPF or hot climate auxiliary radiator
- Not suitable for GPF/OPF or hot climate cars fitted with the second auxiliary radiator
- Not suitable for xDrive models
Fitment Check
All M140i models have an auxiliary radiator on the left-hand side behind the bumper when standing in front of the car. Only GPF/OPF and hot climate cars have a second auxiliary radiator on the right-hand side. If that second radiator is present, this kit will not fit. Worth checking physically before ordering if you're unsure which car you have.
