After extensive research and testing at Airtec's HQ, this intercooler is a genuine performance upgrade for the VW Polo, Seat Ibiza/Bocanegra and Skoda Fabia 1.4 TSI.
A stepped core — 80mm lower section, 60mm upper section — with flowed cast end tanks gives less welding and a stronger intercooler, fitting to standard hoses or upgrading to Pro Hoses' two-piece silicone hose kit.

- Cutting the lower rad pack support is recommended for increased airflow and better intercooler visibility — this doesn't affect structural strength and can be done with a junior hacksaw or thin cutting disc
