Airtec Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Audi Sport S1
Audi's 2.0 TSI from the Golf GTI fits neatly into the small S1 chassis, but the compromise came in the intercooler — the S1's item is a third of the size fitted to the Golf GTI. Road testing found the standard intercooler heat soaking, with temperatures rising to 69°C and forcing the ECU to pull timing, costing power.
Airtec's replacement kept intake temperatures below 24°C in the same testing, avoiding that power loss entirely. Finished to a high standard, it's available in Super Stealth satin black for an OEM look, or silver for maximum visual impact.
