Airtec Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Mini Cooper S F56
Part of Airtec's expanding Mini range, this intercooler is a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM item on the F56 Cooper S, fitting both pre-LCI and LCI models, built to maintain performance during extended hard driving.
A 60mm race-spec bar and plate core with super-flow, thin-wall cast alloy end tanks avoids the sharp corners that slow airspeed, giving faster recovery times. High-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks direct flow efficiently through the core.
Tested
Across three runs, the original intercooler showed inlet temperatures of 137-141°C dropping to 50-61°C at the outlet. With Airtec's intercooler fitted, inlet temperatures of 138-141°C dropped to a consistent 26-27°C.
