Airtec Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Landrover Discovery II TD5 Auto
The AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler for the Discovery II TD5 Automatic uses a bar-and-plate core measuring 625mm wide, 265mm high and 56mm deep, with 50mm pipe outlets that connect to the standard boost hoses. The bar-and-plate core outperforms the smaller and more restrictive OEM intercooler and is stronger and more durable, suited to harsh environments and heavy off-road use, while the high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks direct flow correctly and efficiently for greater efficiency and volume over standard.
The larger, freer-flowing core is designed so there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving, reducing charge temperatures and increasing performance. It is a direct replacement with no cutting or drilling required, allows the air conditioning to be retained, and is finished in powder coated black with all fixtures, fittings and detailed installation instructions included.
