Airtec Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Transit Connect 1.0 / M Sport 1.0
A proven 60mm core running left to right of the end tanks, giving this single-pass intercooler the shortest possible route for charged air — important with such a small turbo, where getting air in and out quickly matters.
The design also maximises use of the hottest part of the intercooler, the top section, keeping it fully exposed for maximum airflow — cutting more of the grille open with a Dremel or drill during fitting can improve this further.
Tested
Testing at Collins Performance showed the standard intercooler at 62 degrees, Airtec's Stage 1 intercooler at 44 degrees, and Airtec's Stage 2 intercooler at just 20 degrees.
