Airtec Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Ford Focus RS Mk3
Part of Airtec's expanding Ford Focus RS range, this huge Gobstopper intercooler with a 100mm core offers reduced charge temperatures over the original — particularly beneficial on remapped examples.
A high-flow, single-pass core design is wider, taller and deeper than the original for a significant increase in frontal area and capacity. Despite this, it fits neatly behind the original bumper with no trimming or cutting, and can be reverted to standard — an essential modification for any performance-enhanced RS wanting consistently low charge temperatures.
Tested
At 16.0°C ambient, three runs showed inlet temperatures of 155-160°C dropping to a consistent 18-19°C at the outlet.
