Airtec Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Audi TT RS 8J
A front mount intercooler for the Audi TT RS (8J), a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM setup, fitting all models.
A huge 120mm core paired with high-flow cast end tanks gives much greater surface area, efficiency and volume than standard, while still fitting neatly behind the original bumper and using the original hoses, taking around 3-4 hours to fit. Available in Natural Silver or Pro-Series Black. The original Audi crash bar needs modifying to fit — either cut it yourself, or order a pre-modified, powder-coated crash bar from Airtec for a charge.
Tested
At AmD Tuning (11/04/2017), the standard intercooler showed inlet temperatures of 117-119°C dropping to 68-78°C at the outlet across three runs. With Airtec's intercooler fitted, inlet temperatures of 116-118°C dropped to a consistent 36-37°C at the outlet.
