Airtec Motorsport De-Cat Downpipe for Mini Cooper R56
Removing the restrictive factory catalytic converter from the OEM downpipe cuts back pressure significantly, letting the engine expel gases more quickly — for sharper throttle response, more power and a more aggressive exhaust note with added pops and bangs.
Made from T304-grade stainless steel and mandrel bent to a high standard, designed and finished in the UK, supplied with bracket, bolt and a comprehensive fitting guide. Recommended for use with ECU software though it can also be run on a standard car.
