Airtec Motorsport Chargecooler Radiator Upgrade for BMW F8x S55 (M2 Comp/M3/M4)
Developed at Airtec's UK HQ, this front mount chargecooler radiator is aimed at BMW M2 Competition, M3 and M4 models for fast road or track use — chargecooled engines depend heavily on coolant temperature, and the standard system can struggle to keep up, especially when tuned.
Airtec's replacement, using the available space behind the front bumper, measures nearly 100mm taller and 20mm thicker overall, more than doubling capacity to 9.9 litres (a 5.4-litre increase) and adding 40% more frontal area to cool that extra volume. Despite the increases, it fits neatly behind the bumper on the OEM mounts and coolant connectors with no modification required, with a removable stone guard protecting the vulnerable, larger core. It can be run with the original chargecooler for improved running temperatures, or paired with Airtec's Ultimate Specification billet chargecooler for the biggest gains.
