Airtec Motorsport Catch Can Kit for BMW N55 (M135i/M235i/M2 non-Competition)
Part of Airtec's expanding BMW range, this oil catch can is a preventative upgrade for N55-engined M135i, M235i and non-Competition M2 models, protecting direct injection engines from performance loss over time.
The factory oil breather setup can let carbon build up inside the intake system, forming an oily sludge over the intake tract and inlet valves that restricts airflow and costs power. A catch can filters out these contaminants before they reach the inlet system, and cleaning existing build-up is a far more costly job than preventing it. Airtec's kit is built specifically to fit within the engine bay, mounting on a billet-machined bracket finished in anodised matt black. The can itself has an internal micron filter, baffle and dipstick, and detaches for easy servicing.
