Airtec Motorsport Catch Can Kit for BMW B58 M140i/M240i
Part of Airtec's expanding B58 range, this oil catch can is a preventative upgrade for the M140i and M240i, protecting direct injection engines from performance loss over time.
The factory oil breather setup can let carbon build up inside the intake system, forming an oily sludge over the intake tract and inlet valves that restricts airflow and costs power. A catch can filters out these contaminants before they reach the inlet system, and cleaning existing build-up is a far more costly job than preventing it. Airtec's kit is built specifically to fit within the engine bay, mounting on a laser-cut bracket finished in powder-coated matt black. The can itself has an internal baffle and dipstick, and detaches for easy servicing.
