Part of Airtec's expanding VW range, this oil catch can kit is a preventative upgrade for the Mk7 Golf R, protecting direct injection engines from performance loss over time.
The factory oil breather setup can let carbon build up inside the intake system, forming an oily sludge that restricts airflow and costs power over time. Airtec's kit is built specifically to fit within the Golf R's engine bay, mounting on a laser-cut bracket finished in powder-coated black that also relocates the washer fluid tank filler. The can itself has an internal micron filter, baffle and dipstick, and detaches for easy servicing.
