Airtec Motorsport Big Boost Pipe Kit for Honda Civic FL5 Type R
Part of Airtec's expanding Civic range, this big boost pipe kit is designed to work with Airtec's uprated intercooler, improving flow and capacity through the FL5 Type R's boost pipework with two specially made Pro Hoses silicone pipes and CNC-machined connectors.
On the hot side from the turbo, the original pipework measures 55mm before stepping up to 65mm at the intercooler; Airtec's replacement runs a consistent 65mm from start to finish, an 18% increase with no restrictions. On the cold side to the throttle body, the original measures 59mm before joining the 70mm intercooler pipework; Airtec's replacement runs a consistent 70mm throughout, again an 18% increase. The kit requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit.
