Airtec Motorsport Aluminium Under Tray for Clio Mk3 RS 197 / 200
Part of Airtec's expanding Renault range, this aluminium under tray is a direct replacement for the Clio 197 and 200, whose original tray is short, thin plastic and covers only a small area with a single cooling guide aimed at the transmission.
Built from a full 3D scan of the car's underside, Airtec's replacement dramatically extends coverage for a genuine aerodynamic benefit, retaining the original air vent but enlarging it and adding further venting to improve engine bay airflow and cooling. It reuses all original mounting points and fixings, plus additional points further back for extra strength.
What does an under tray do?
An under tray serves three main purposes: protecting the underside of the car from road debris and impact damage, improving aerodynamics by smoothing airflow underneath the car to reduce drag and improve grip, handling and efficiency, and — on performance models like this one — actively venting cold air to or extracting warm air from the engine bay for extra cooling.
