Airtec Motorsport Aluminium Under Tray for Ford Focus ST / RS Mk2
Part of Airtec's expanding Ford range, this aluminium under tray is a direct replacement for the Ford Focus Mk2 ST and RS, built from a full 3D scan of the car's underside for an exact fit, reusing all original mounting points plus five additional fixings for extra security.
Made from 2mm aluminium rather than the original plastic, it features enlarged ducts and vents that specifically direct air towards the OEM oil modine and transmission, rather than sending it aimlessly into the engine bay as the original does. A more open rear section and elongated slots let heat escape more effectively, and the design also works with Airtec's big boost pipe kit, which fits under the engine.
What does an under tray do?
An under tray serves three main purposes: protecting the underside of the car from road debris and impact damage, improving aerodynamics by smoothing airflow underneath the car to reduce drag and improve grip, handling and efficiency, and — on performance models like this one — actively venting cold air to or extracting warm air from the engine bay for extra cooling.

Please Note
- Uses existing mounting points and bolts, but the original plastic fittings the bolts thread into must be in good condition to hold torque properly — replace any that are worn or stripped with new Ford items before fitting
- Two existing holes in the subframe need enlarging to secure the additional fixings
- Reduced clearance between the enlarged scoop and the sump means an uprated torque mount is strongly advised if the original shows wear or excess movement
