Airtec Motorsport Alloy Radiator Upgrade for Ford Focus ST and RS Mk2
As Ford Focus ST and RS tuning has pushed to ever-higher levels, the standard cooling radiator has remained a weak point — Airtec's alloy radiator addresses this directly.
A huge 40mm core, normally reserved for Airtec's Cosworth radiators, was a perfect fit here, though its size called for more adjustable fitting — adjustable billet lower locating pegs help position it correctly while preventing twisting during installation.
Key Features
- All-alloy construction with a 40mm core — thicker than Ford's 30mm and most aftermarket radiators
- Reduces coolant temperatures by 10-15 degrees, thanks largely to the 40mm core
- Welded end tanks, versus Ford's weaker crimped plastic items known to leak on modified cars
- Adjustable lower billet studs — unique to Airtec radiators — aid fitment with big boost pipe kits and aftermarket intercoolers
- Original fans fit as standard
- Air-con radiator fits on via neat machined fitting blocks
- Compatible with Airtec RS Stage 1/2 and ST Stage 1/2/3/4 intercoolers, plus Radtec, Pace and Pro-Alloy
Compatible With
- Ford Ford Focus ST (MK2)
- Ford Ford Focus RS (MK2)
