Airtec Motorsport 70mm Core Chargecooler Radiator Upgrade for Mk1 Ford Focus RS
The original chargecooler radiator copes fine on a standard car, but as soon as boost is added via a remap, it struggles to hold safe temperatures — rising charge air temperatures then force the ECU to pull back power to compensate.
Airtec's replacement uses a 70mm core, 30mm bigger than the OEM item, increasing capacity from 5.5 litres to 9.7 litres — a 76% increase. It's a direct fit, reusing all the original fixings with no extra modification needed.
