The VBOX Pit Lane Timer removes the guesswork from the pit stop period of an endurance race. It recognises the preset pit lane entry point as the car crosses it, displays speed until the car comes to a stop, then counts down to zero to indicate when to leave the box.
High brightness LEDs change colour and intensity to tell the driver whether the pit lane exit will be reached too early, too late, or exactly on time helping avoid pit stop penalties. All data logs to SD card at 25 times per second, and Racelogic's Circuit Tools analysis software is included free for Windows, macOS and iOS.
The S version has a side connector, making it easy to move between vehicles and flexible to install. The R version uses a rear connector in a slightly slimmer housing, suited to more permanent installations.
