Öhlins cancellation kits allow Öhlins suspension to be fitted to vehicles equipped with factory electronic damper control. The car's original adaptive dampers are monitored continuously by the vehicle's control unit, and removing them without a cancellation kit will trigger a fault and leave a warning light on the dashboard.
The kit emulates the signal the control unit expects to receive from the original dampers, so the system reads as healthy and no error is logged. Fitting is plug-and-play using the vehicle's existing damper connectors, with no cutting or splicing of the factory loom required.
