The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the Toyota GR Supra MK5 3.0 (B58) provides a less restrictive flow path to the turbo while maintaining low inlet temperatures. The intake is positioned next to the exhaust manifold, which rapidly heat soaks the engine bay.
Eventuri's solution is a fully sealed dual-feed carbon fibre airbox with a heat shield lined with gold reflective material to minimise radiative heat transfer. A secondary cold air feed extends into the wheel arch area via a scoop that protrudes behind the front wheel, incorporating an internal splash guard to deflect water away from the filter. The stock convoluted intake tube is replaced with a smooth carbon tube with a starting internal diameter of 111mm (4.4"), tapering down to match the turbo inlet - an 82% increase in cross-sectional area over the stock tube (OEM: 80.8mm / 3.2"). A removable panel on the airbox allows the optional headlamp duct to feed cold air directly to the filter for race applications. Independently dyno tested in the US on a Supra with downpipe and tune, and by Evolve Automotive in the UK at Stage 2 with downpipe, all runs conducted with the bonnet closed.
