The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the Mercedes-AMG C63 / C63S W205 was developed around three objectives: increased flow rate, low intake temperatures and smooth airflow. The C63S engine bay reaches high temperatures with the turbos in close proximity to the intake - Eventuri's solution is a fully sealed system with organically shaped airboxes and custom rounded panel filters to eliminate sharp corners and maintain laminar flow throughout. The upper airbox lids have been significantly enlarged, achieving a height of 56mm above the filter versus 23mm on the stock airbox - 143% larger.
The lower airbox inlet increases from 43mm to 74mm and removes the convoluted ridged section of the stock inlet. Carbon fibre front ducts replace the previous EPDM ducts, smoothly transitioning from the oval slam panel openings to the airboxes while maximising volume. Flow bench tested on a Superflow SF-1020, showing a 39% higher average flow rate per airbox over stock. Dyno tested on both a fully stock C63S and a Stage 2 car with downpipes and remap, and road tested by CF Dynamics in Germany on an Insoric Road Dyno, all tests conducted with the bonnet closed.
Stock performance gain: 10-12hp / 12-15ft-lb
Stage 2 performance gain (with downpipes and remap): 22-30hp / 20-24ft-lb
