For FWD applications the Pump mounted on Inlet Side is recommended unless you have plenty of clearance behind the engine on Exhaust Side for the drive shaft.
2.0/2.4 Litre Honda Civic Type R/Accord K20A / K24 PACE dry sump system for mounting on the exhaust or inlet side of the engine. This dry sump kit is suitable for Honda K20 & K24 engines on RWD or FWD applications and is used on Tsuki, our very own K-swapped NSX Time-Attack car.

A ‘Dry Sump’ system does not allow engine oil to freely pool, and slosh around in the sump. Instead, oil is pumped (‘scavenged’) away from the sump as soon as it has finished its cycle, and collected (often via an oil cooler) in a separate oil reservoir where it is stored before a second pump forces the oil under pressure through the filter and back into the engine.
