The Eventuri Carbon Intake for the Audi 8Y S3 is a complete redesign of the stock intake, all the way to the turbo inlet. Taking cues from the RS3 system, Eventuri has maximised the available space to create an intake catering for all power levels, from stock through to high power builds with hybrid or full frame turbos - offering the highest possible flow rate whilst maintaining the lowest possible intake temperatures, in 100% prepreg carbon fibre with no fibreglass.
The restrictive stock 73mm inlet tube is replaced with a larger 94mm diameter tube, while the patented Venturi housing provides the maximum internal volume possible and delivers laminar flow to the turbo tube, paired with a bespoke dry filter with a 192mm (7.5") outer diameter and over 110,000mm² of filtration surface area. The duct seals the filter opening to the front slam panel, with a lifted front section providing an extra opening behind the bonnet equivalent to an additional 7" diameter feed. On the Superflow flow bench, the system flows 783 CFM against the stock airbox's 455 CFM, and independent back-to-back dyno testing by Regal Autosport on a Mk8 Golf R - the same engine - showed gains throughout the rev range of up to 12hp on a stock map, rising to 20hp and 30Nm with a tuning box, with gains expected to be even higher at higher states of tune.
