We're a passionate team focused on delivering innovative, high-quality automotive products to market. This is your chance to join a growing company in a 3D Design & Prototyping Engineer role, where you'll help transform ideas into reality using the latest CAD, scanning, and 3D printing technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Create and develop detailed 3D models using advanced modelling techniques.
  • Use Fusion 360 (Forms) and SolidWorks (Surfaces) to design complex components and assemblies.
  • Capture and process 3D scans for reverse engineering and product validation.
  • Operate and maintain FDM 3D printers, preparing models for high-quality prototype production.
  • Collaborate closely with our manufacturers and suppliers to ensure designs are production-ready.
  • Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to achieve optimal performance and quality.
  • Assist in product testing, fitment checks, and continuous improvement of design workflows.

Who You Are

  • Highly skilled in CAD modelling, particularly in surface and form-based design.
  • Experienced with 3D scanning and additive manufacturing (FDM).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and material properties.
  • Familiar with automotive design principles, car components, and aftermarket car parts.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A self-motivated team player who takes pride in producing quality work.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects at once.

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience within the automotive or motorsport industry.
  • Knowledge of post-processing and prototype finishing techniques.
  • A genuine passion for cars and performance tuning.

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + relocation package (if required)
