You must be confident working on your car to do this successfully; if not, we recommend a professional installation. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFirst, you must make sure your engine is switched off and has cooled down if it was recently running. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStart by removing all oil\/water lines from your turbo; be ready to catch any fluids that may spill out from the lines. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUndo and remove all hardware securing your turbo to the manifold and also your turbo to downpipe.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou can now safely remove your turbo from the car, ready for inspection.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCheck that the mating flanges between the turbo and manifold are clean and free from warping and defects.
